5/22/2023 0 Comments Skyrim conjureTheir pool of 800 health is quite massive and their simple-minded approach to just charging into melee immediately with two-handers is welcomed. While not quite as ridiculous as the Ayeleid or as damaging as the Dremora Lord, the Wrathman still has a place for those of you who ventured into the Soul Cairne to recover the spell. If you need someone to just charge in instead of pulling out their stupid hunting bow and plinking away at enemies with steel arrows (looking at you EVERY MELEE FOLLOWER) this is the spell for you. While they "only" have 345 health, they boast a large amount of physical damage reduction in addition to the large amount of damage from their fire-damage weapons. Truly worthy of a dragonborn that's reached the late game stage of level 46.ĭespite the new existence of the Ayleid Lich this spell still reins supreme among expert Conjurers before level 46. The Lich has an ungodly 1500 health, is level 50, and in addition to powerful destruction spells will be conjuring Storm Atronachs and re-animating dead bodies. Despite being such a late-bloomer of a spell, this is by far the new most powerful summon in the game. This spell is locked behind a level 46 quest and must be crafted at the Atronach Forge. Otherwise Conjure Seeker is a dps powerhouse that slaughters anything unlucky enough to be nearby. The biggest downside to this summon is that it's incredibly slow and that it is hard to get early since it requires going to Apocrypha in Dragonborn. The main downside to the spell is that many enemies in the game have frost resistance but this summon is an impossible to ignore tank for NPCs. While the Tomb Guardian outclasses the Frost Atronach this is still a worthy spell and available at a much earlier level if Conjuration is one of your main skills. Definitely the strongest summon at this tier and below. They frequently power attack which creates a lot more stagger than you'd think for a weapon that's not supposed to stagger often. Also, every time they kill an enemy an additional ghost is spawned. Tomb Guardians spawn with a Headsman's Axe granting them huge reach. This can be very easily exploited to allow you to craft better equipment and brew better potions without actually investing perks in the relevant skills.Īnother new summoner from Necrmantic Grimoire but this one is nuts and relevant throughout the game. Instead, when the spirit dies, it temporarily grants you 10 points from the skills of its killer. This summon is a weird one and suffers from the same level issue as Skeleton Marksman, but it's not particularly useful in combat anyway. Depending on your character, your conjuration could be well above apprentice level by time this summon is useful. You won't see this spell tome show up in shops until level 11. However, the Necromantic Grimoire content unlocks based on your level not your conjuration skill. It's far more accurate than the Flame Atronach when it comes to shooting at dragons. Normally I would rate Skeleton Marskman quite highly the damage it pumps out is good for its level and the arrows it shoots weakens foes. She's just tanky enough to hold her own and her damage is quite high in a game where many enemies have weakness to fire. While the game's updates have added a lot to conjuration little has been done that would dethrone Flame Atronach as the top summon of the apprentice spells. You gain a massive amount of XP raising dead enemies in combat (or causing raised corpses to be aggressive) and even though the corpse is weak it can take a few swings to bring down. If you plan on investing into conjuration this was always the best novice spell. Technically it's cheating putting this here because it's not a summon but I refuse to give the worthless Familiar or Zombie the honor. Not only does it get extra stats from your inherently large magicka pool, but activating the Highborn ability directly after will get all of that mana back.Ĭonjure Skeleton Minion (Free copy just south of Fort Greymoor near Whiterun):įor those who don't wish to burn all their mana on the better ghost, this guy is just beefy and cheap enough to last you the 1-2 levels it may take you to reach apprentice conjuration. This spell is particularly synergistic for High Elf. All of your mana is consumed but that amount directly goes into the health of an already beefy summon. If you want a long-lasting tank that's usable even if you never upgrade conjuration, then this is it. The AE content has changed that.Ĭonjure Undying Ghost (Free copy at the Ritual Stone): Normally the novice tier of conjuration is of very little use for summons and the tier is directly skipped for beefier and more useful apprentice spells. Here's how I'd rate the top 3 in each category: With the creation club's addition of several new conjuration abilities I believe there's some serious competition and discussion to be had instead of simply summoning two Draemora Lords and calling it a day.
